Individual Qualifications
Why do you want to become a member of the WISPA Board of Directors and what do you hope to achieve through your leadership experience? I feel that my experience and knowledge in the industry can help other members grow.

Please describe your experience and current involvement with WISPA, including participating on WISPA committees. While I have not been involved that much with WISPA committees, I have given input in the GandP Committee and Marketing/Wholesale committees.  With the Marketing/Wholesale committees we have formed new relationships with DirecTV and Dish Network.

Please explain strengths that you possess that would be of particular benefit to WISPA through your service on the board (e.g. leadership, areas of specialty, industry relations, etc.) I have 5 years in the WISP industry, 3 of them as a vendor and ISP.  I have also been involved with training and consulting many WISPs on best business practices as well as technical training.  Many of the WISPA Vendors and WISPs know me by first name.

Please describe any current or previous leadership experience with non-profit organizations and your role: I previously served as a board member for the local Humane Society and am a lead member of the Technology Committee for our Church/School.

In your view, what are the biggest challenges facing the wireless internet industry, and how do you believe WISPA should address them? In my opinion, we need more access to spectrum.  3.65GHz was a start, but we need more.  WISPA needs to lobby for more access and manufacturers need to be able to provide cost effective equipment.
