We offer a complete line of services that range from workstation sales, commercial networking to internet and intranet access for businesses located in the 16% of the Northeastern part of the state of Louisiana where we have a point of presence. Our subscriber base is about 60/40% with residential being the larger of the subscriber base. We smile due to the fact that we carry 90% of the government agencies (Sheriffs offices, local PD, Tax agencies, court houses, judges chambers..etc) as well as every clinic and hospital on our wireless network since DSL & T1's are available to the majority of these businesses. We think that speaks volumes not only for the service we provide, but for the wireless industry as a whole.

Individual Qualifications
Why do you want to become a member of the WISPA Board of Directors and what do you hope to achieve through your leadership experience? I would like to continue on the board of directors of WISPA to see WISPA become the industry giant that I think it has the potential to be. I do beleieve that the leadership in place to day is the very successful and has a united vision of where we need to be. I still fondly remember the conversations of a few men at other events where WISPA was conceived. Those dreams and desires are still alive and thriving!

Please describe your experience and current involvement with WISPA, including participating on WISPA committees. I am currently the WISPA Secretary. I also am on the PR committie and took on the building of the booth we currently use at ISPCONs.

Please explain strengths that you possess that would be of particular benefit to WISPA through your service on the board (e.g. leadership, areas of specialty, industry relations, etc.) I am known and respected by many in this industry due to the work accomplished immediately after hurricanes Katrina, Rita and Wilma. I have also built muni networks for such cities as Plantation, Florida and worked closely with the governments of Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia and Florida as well as consulted across the USA for both WISPs and individual businesses. The long list of both friends and collegues I have acquired through the years in the wireless industry is always at my disposal and it is an avenue of knowledge that I am not ashamed to call on when needed for the good of the whole.

Please describe any current or previous leadership experience with non-profit organizations and your role: (no answer provided)

In your view, what are the biggest challenges facing the wireless internet industry, and how do you believe WISPA should address them? The biggest challenge we all have as WISPs is the fact that we are currently using trash (802.11 & 900MHz) spectrum to deliver quality internet access in. If we had some premium spectrum I do believe that the sky is the limit to what we could actually do. I think WISPA should be the big brother to all of WISPs and step up its communications with the FCC on our behalf.
