Individual Qualifications
Why do you want to become a member of the WISPA Board of Directors and what do you hope to achieve through your leadership experience? I believe that a BOD should consist of not only the principle businesses represented, but also have additional business backgrounds that represent the operational functions of the association.

Please describe your experience and current involvement with WISPA, including participating on WISPA committees. As a Vendor Member I have participated in membership growth to support WISPA's efforts as well as offer any experience I feel can help WISPA's goals.

Please explain strengths that you possess that would be of particular benefit to WISPA through your service on the board (e.g. leadership, areas of specialty, industry relations, etc.) Over the past 10+ years I have owned and operated as a dial-up ISP and webhost, worked with AASP, participated as an advisory board member for ISPCON, and also consulted with various industry providers.

Having experience in wire-line operations, I have seen what regulatory changes can do to disrupt businesses. In late 2004, I help co-found the WBIA to help drive attention to the increasing need to participate in the regulatory processes that control the industry.

I also feel that by expanding the DOB in number with outside related industries, may provided additional exposure, opportunities and leadership skills.

Please describe any current or previous leadership experience with non-profit organizations and your role: (no answer provided)

In your view, what are the biggest challenges facing the wireless internet industry, and how do you believe WISPA should address them? In my opinion, WISPA has made significant contributions to the Wireless Internet Industry,(WII)in tackling the immediate needs that face the industry, e.g., CALEA and reporting obligations.

Obviously more work will need to be done, in establishing WISPA as the place to be for WII.
